Recently General Manager Peter Bowling, surprised me with the news that Capella Pedregal would play host to our first Wine & Food Festival! As you can imagine I’m extremely excited! One of my favorite indulgences is a fantastic meal paired with a perfect glass of wine.
The Wine & Food Festival will bring some of the world’s greatest chefs to Cabo San Lucas for an exclusive five day gourmet experience. Kevin Rathbun, Kent Rathbun, Johnny Iuzzini and Capella Pedregal’s Marco Bustamante are among the master chefs that will be creating the gourmet getaway.
To satiate my curiosity and excitement, I visited Marco for some insider information about the festival. According to Marco, “It is going to be like visiting at a vacation home with your favorite chefs. We will enjoy Cabo San Lucas and beautiful weather together; during the day we will relax by the pool, sip margaritas, attend cooking demonstrations, exchange ideas, tips and trick, and of course learn several new recipes! At night the focus will be on savoring exquisite meals and fine wines—all while attending beach parties complete with bonfires, live music and fun!”
Sounds like a plan to me!
