It is no wonder that Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is this year’s host of one of the most important yoga events – Campus Yoga. From October 25-27 our towns will be hosting renowned international yoga teachers Sadie Nardini, Jenny Cornero, Nubia Teixeira and Alejandro Maldonaldo. In addition to yoga classes, the event will offer a multitude of activities. The list includes meditation, Tai Chi, Ayurveda, aromatherapy classes, vegetarian cooking classes, a holistic bazaar and more! Ixtapa Zihuatanejo will become a destination for all who love yoga and wellness, as well as for the interested novice. With all the wellness activities happening in town, I am happy to share with you that at Capella Ixtapa we have renewed our spa and fitness offerings as well. From Zumba to Body Sculpt to Core & More, there is definitely a class for everyone. My favorite is Yogalates, which is a fusion of poses and stretches of yoga and pilates. The class takes place on the yoga deck and it is amazing to workout alongside the ocean views and the sounds of waves crashing below.
